Hey guys,
I have a Red Sea max c250 and came home today to find there’d been a power cut and now 4 of 6 bulbs not working, thought it may have blown bulbs but tried new ones and still nothing have been told could be the ballasts gone everywhere I search for them they’re out of stock.
Anyways I’ve been debating a led upgrade for a while and this may be the kick up the **** I need, I just wondered what you guys would recommend I’d prefer to keep the hood and not cut holes in the top if could be helped
Thanks in advance for any help and advice

If i'm reading Red Sea's website correctly, that tank is 37x22x21 inches correct? If you want to go LED i'd opt for either a pair of Kessil A360's or a single AP700, only problem is whenver you differentiate away from what the factory came with, modification is going to most likely be needed.

Yes that’s correct. I know you can get led to fit directly but by time you add shipping to the cost it starts getting silly money. The only thing I don’t want is holes on the top of hood specially if light is escaping from there. Will have a look at kessil thanks buddy.
