For acurate PAR readings you will want an underwater PAR meter. . . these are expensive, but some LFS or local clubs lend them out. There is a smart phone app for PAR reading but not designed for underwater use and results may vary.

The manufacturers and BRS TV will give you a ballpark idea of par.
