what kinda lighting is suggested for a 72 gallon tank
2 or 3 of those same units.

+1, i agree, you will need that many for the coverage and to hit the bottom

Take care of the tank and enjoy! And I had 2 ai Vegas above the 72 gal and had great growth. As I said yesterday as long as the lights are powerful you can raise them a little higher and have your LEDs ramped up so you only need 2. Heck I even had 2 above my 90 with amazing growth
