Lighting

Hello,

It should work, but you will have to consider a few things.
Do to the shape of can cause some head scratching, such as how many. You may need one per end (depending on size) but may need two in the center because width. I could see where it would be easier to have the 30 in the center where the pods are front to back instead of side to side. Then use two 15 one per end or a 30 per end depending on the size of the tank.

Your going to have some overlap, and or shading, but also because the front is curved, you may have light escape the tank. It’s definitely possible just have to kinda get creative with it. I would probably suggest diffusers, if the tank is not super deep.

Edit oh now I see the size of tank after I had to think this out oops. One could work but you will still have light escape from where the tank curves in the center and may not hit the edges left to right.

Thanks a lot for the information will consider checking out my options

Thanks a lot that's what I thought I'm going to go pick up to xr15w Pros tomorrow and if needed will pick up a third one thanks very much for that info
Your welcome, you also may want to add the diffusers, I love the look they give my tank. If you start growing Acro you may have to add a t5 hybrid system like aquatic life versus adding a 3rd radion once they start shading themselves.

Hold on. Two lights that strong on a 36 bowfront?! You will need to run them at a very low % to keep from frying stuff.

I am sure there are much more suitable options than these. Unless you just have your heart set on them.

The one good thing about going way overboard is you can use them on a much larger tank when you want to upgrade.

I see a tank upgrade in you future ;) go for it!

The recommended spread on a xr15 is 18x18, 2 would make sense to me on a 36 inch. I agree though start very low, I have 2 xr30 and t5 on my 48 inch 120 gallon and I max at 45%.
