So where my tank is ending it’s cycling , I started turning on the lights only for about 6 hrs. I have a FluvalSmart reef light that i can program . Should my light be full on during the day . With full spectrum or dimmed. Or does it not matter at this time until I get softies and fish in tank.

It really shouldn’t matter until you have something in the tank. I added a screenshot of my light parameters

Doesn't really matter until you have coral or fish.
The fish like a light schedule. Helps them to know feeding time and such.

Right now, you'll just be growing algae and diatoms with the full spectrum. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It has to happen. Some say let's get it on and get through it.

Lighting can get pretty technical. Most people will run 10-12 hours of mostly blues with 3-6 hours of a fuller spectrum mid day. You can decide what is day and night for your tank (provided it's not being lit by windows) if you like to keep odd hours.
