Ok guys. I have a 65 JBJ rimless. I Have a jbj orion sl100 light. Not sure if it’s a decent light for my corals. Also what is a great time for my lighting preset. Thoughts?

Your current light maxes out at 100W. Depending on what your plans are, that could be enough. It's almost certainly good enough for soft corals and less light demanding LPS, but if you want to go the stony coral (SPS) route or perhaps get a clam or two I think you'll run into troubles.

As for the cost, you could spend a couple hundred on a CBB (chinese black box) that will have the power but lack the features and track record or more than a thousand on a name brand with more features. It is very dependent on where you want to end up in this obsession and what your budget is.
