I don’t like the lights that I’ve got with my aquarium from the fish shop. So I’m planning to change the whole set the unit is 48 long and has two sandblower lights which seems to be bleaching my live rock so clearly I need to change it what do you guys recommend I am unemployed and on sick due to ill Heath so I can’t really afford much As don’t have a regular income.

Is that TV above the tank? Be careful with evaporation.

I don't think a live rock can get bleached out by a light.

Since your tank is new, i suggest that you do tank cycling first. Don't need light to cycle a tank. Go slow with the cycling, no need to rush things.

After it is cycled then you can keep a fish or two, choose the hardy ones like ocellaris. With fish only tank, you can keep the original light. No worries.

Welcome to R2R. Cheers.

T5 or A couple of light bars such as Reebbrite, orphel or even SB reef bar
