I have a 75g with 10g sump, which I am new to, my past aquarium was 100 gal with canister and protein skimmer, this one has protein skimmer as well. I am struggling with my livestock, all my levels are in perfect range, however my sump does act up pretty often where it is not over flowing in the output area, I have added activated carbon, my temp runs about 75 degrees, the only thing I can think of is maybe my lighting, I do not know much about lighting spectrum, I just know it is one I bought off amazan, led reef saltwater growing lighting, its pretty , bright, but I am probably not understanding howlighting works, can anyone help me, corals are too expensive and beautiful to just die on me, also I could use help on the proper flow for corals, , I only started the is new hobby about two years ago, but it was just a few months ago after my out of state move where I had to start all over again with a new aquarium, also are there coral conventions, seminars, etc to learn more about reefing?

Im not one to suggest LEDS as i hate thrm and think they are very overpriced.

I prefer T5s.. i csn point you to T5 grow fixtures on amazon that are cheap. I use ati bulbs. Coral plus and blue plus. They grow anything i throw at em.. zoas. Leathers. Acroporas. Lps doesnt matter the coral. Although alot of ppl are going leds.. i still hate thr shimmer/shadow they make. And how overpriced they are.
