I’m new to the hobby and have a 250 litre aquarium. It is 90cm long and doesn’t come with a light. I would like to support corals in this tank, so does anyone have any good light suggestions. I have a price range up to 500 pounds

I personally like my Kessil AP9X. It's a little over budget if I converted the currency correctly, but I think it is worth it. Please note that there are a lot of good lighting options out there, so I pretty sure you won't go wrong with any descent purchase, but I wouldn't go too cheap if really trying to stay in budget. If money weren't a factor I would try a lot of different brands myself and have a lot more systems running, but oh well. ;)

Hope that helps, enjoy the hobby, and welcome to Reef2Reef. :)

Love my Aquanest M 8's. Preset for SPS or LPS. You can also adjust those if you like. I eliminated the blue light section for night which was the only light running. Also you can set your own program. It has an app for your phone , and runs all 5 spectrums. You would need 2 and may be over your budget. I always make the plunge hoping I am buying something that will

last. Been rewarded so far. If you want something cheaper I also have a Razor light. You can only set your own program with a 3 light spectrum, but has been running for 9 years
