I am acclimating them slowly at my own specific % now the lamp comes with an sps , lps and softie program I think right now the lps is to strong . I have the light right now at 10 inches from the water is a 60 cube 2'x2'x20" high with sump the light is not a well known light is a 90watt two pods , my question is to bring the color back from how it looked at the lfs what would be the best way I know is not an easy question knowing how much info about lightings out there but any help is appreciatedLighting should be set for what the corals that are being acquired want to minimize acclimation stress and corals adjusting their photobiology (and color)."
yes their into all blues but little by little I've been raising the colors . I can see it on the hammer its getting back the dark colors on the ends it had at the lfs. the frogspawn is opening more still haven't gotten the light yellow color it had thoughBest way is to match the light intensity and spectrum and follow the same dosing and water change regimen and likely also the same livestock as the LFS. SOme LFS only run blues over their corals to make them pop but likely have a different spectrum after hours. You're right, not easy. :/ I'd start by asking the LFS some questions about their system and lighting. Next look closely at your water parameters and dosing.
