I have a 55 gallon that I’m starting I already see coral that I would want in my tank the guy at the fish store says some coral need special lighting and showed me a 600 dollar light but when I read forums or google it makes it seem as I don’t need that expensive light right away I can go with a normal light so my question is will any marine light do for all coral or do I need to go that expensive if I need to I will but if not I won’t

There lots of options for lighting, specific coral need specific lighting. And you don’t have to buy top of the the line equipment. They is many different types of lighting mounts and aspects too. Any idea what coral you want or how you would like the light to look when mounted?

Corals require light to live. You don't have to spend thousands but you can't use just any old light. $5-600 is likely a good budget for a 55g tank. Yes, there are cheaper Amazon specials if you want. There are also much more expensive.

A single AI Blade would work well and you can always a second down the road.
