Hi I'm new to the aquarium hobby and am in the process of cycling my 75 gallon tank that i plan to make a reef tank but dont know very much about lighting yet
does any have any advice/recommendations for lights i plan to go mostly softies/lps with a few sps and a Tridacna clam

75g I would go with one 32” long blackbox (Mars Aqua etc) supplemented with some T5’s

For just softies the Black Box will be enough.

Clams are another story

whats the bare minimum light youd recommend for either a tridacna derasa or maxima clam

I have never attempted a clam, but I have only read that they are pretty finicky and the light requirements are pretty high.

My Mars Aqua grows SPS, so it may work.....
