Lightning choices for IM 25 Lagoon

The tank has a dimension of 24”x20”x12”.

For about the same money, 2 AI prime, 1 AI 26, 1 Radion XR15 Gen 4. Which option is the best? I would like to be able to grow anything. The primes will have a better spread I assume but the XR15 will have better spectrum.

Also I already have an mp10 powerhead so I would gain cloud capability for both the powerhead and light if going with Radion but that’s a very minor consideration.

Nanobox is similar priced but a little less powerful compared to AI and Radions.

I use the Maxspect Ethereal on my Innovative Marine Nuvo 20. If I had it to do over again I would probably get the AI Hydra 26 or two AI Primes.

It can be a pain to make adjustments on.

It takes me a several resets on the ethereal, the ICV6 controller, and the app to get them all communicating with each other so I can adjust the light. On average, It takes me about 30 minutes to get them to communicate and then about 5 minutes to make the adjustment, so in that aspect they can be a bit frustrating.

However, since I last got them dialed in, I haven't had to make any adjustments, so for now I'm okay with them. I just wish it was easier to make changes in the event I want to take pictures of the tank or something. I think it would be better if the controller was built into the light like it is with the AI's, that way you would only have to get two things to communicate (if using a single light) rather than three. Apparently they are always working on the app and it gets better with each update. I haven't tried since I last got them dialed in.

Dual A80’s with a Spectral Controller. If I were to upgrade I’d do a T5/LED upgrade from nanobox.

I have a 25 Lagoon as well. I've run Kessils over it, but for the last two years an ATI T5 fixture. For sheer appearance only nothing beats Kessil. Decent growth and easy to use as well. However, when I switched it to all SPS growth slowed until I moved to the ATI's. Just my experience in one tank. I realize you have listed LED's other than a Kessil, but you should take a look at the BRS video comparing all LED's and see their conclusions.
