Thinking of changing my program and would like feedback. I'm not doing this because the corals look bad but rather to enjoy my viewing window under my Kessil. I have an Aquatic Life/kessil combo. T5 is not dimmable. What I have done for the past year is 3 hour ramp up/down with 4 hr peak. The kessil gets to 20% max and the t5 kicks on for the peak kessil time. ***These are not my par numbers but using for simplicity. Kessil at 20% is 100 par, T5 kicks on and total par is now 150. The problem with this is that even with a ramp up it's still a jump but bigger problem is when the T5 shuts off I have a viewing of kessil at 20% and less to enjoy. I know I could more the entire photo period as well. I'm attaching what I'm thinking of doing. Kessil at 60% gives me 150 so ramp kessil to 60% then shut it down to the 20% that would keep par at the 150 if that makes sense? More gradual intro to the peak par mark and allows me 60% kessil time. Concerns: reading a lot more about spectrum v par???

I guess it could work but the timing.. Sounds like a nightmare to be seemless.
What if the ramp up on the Kessel stopped short of the mark then the t5 came on?
