hello. I recently upgraded. I was wondering what lights would be good for this tank?

Are you looking for T5 or LED’s or a Hybrid?
Also what type of corals?
I would go with a hybrid myself.
1 Aquatic Life 36” with 4 ATI Blue+ bulbs, and 2 Kessil A360x led’s you will be able to grow anything under this setup in that tank.

Did you get the 30L version or the regular 30g?
I am putting 2 AI Prime HD fixtures over my 30L

The 30L is 3' long and narrow. I think the 30g is more of a traditional cube look

Yeah 2 primes would work well. Or two radion xr15s. Maybe a current USA fixture to account for the long length?

The "eBay Chinese Lights" (a phrase coined years ago when dozens of Chinese Mfgrs came to Ebay with their inexpensive lights)

.... are getting better and better and better.

For the price, this is a solid choice bc its PROGRAMMABLE using internal digital timers.

I buy these guys and RETRO them by unsoldering the LEDs I dont want....and resolder the 3w diodes i buy from China ($1.50 / diode) to get the color Nm look i want. But that's just me, unafraid to mess with the circuit board. Its reeeeeeeally hard to fry a circuit board or a diode when soldering. Theyre almost bulletproof.Havent lost a single circuit board yet. Diodes are cheap at a $1.50 and come in packs of 10, 25, 50....

But for what you get straight out of the box....It's a great price point and a above-avg light

The light below was built using 3W Bridgelux/Epileds LEDs. Good product. Solid results.

Even if it blows up at the 3 yr mark....who cares at that price point.

I running 2 Ai Primes on mine. It seems to be a popular choice and produces good results. If you have the money 2 xr15s would be nice.

If you want to go T5 LED hybrid reefbrite Supra could be an option.

Here is my 30L with primes
