no one... hmm

just order.. lets see how they work..

The first 2 are too strong. I tried a 75 watt in that style and the algae was clear. Weird .

This one worked great.

@SantaMonica offers their GEM5 lights without their scrubber! They are waterproof.

I experimented with dif color, wattage and types of lights. Think you’re better off getting a blue/red combo grow light, and one with more spread. Meaning more, smaller bulbs spread out over the area.

Like the one I posted above, or similar

I tried a light like that, 75 watt. Had to back it away from screen about a foot to get decent growth. Any closer and I got a clear looking slime instead of green algae.

Think the bigger the screen the better. More nutrient removal, maybe less frequent cleaning, and you could always put it on a timer to cut back if wanted.
Amount of flow is exactly why I like separate pumps. Figure in head and you’ll have a good idea of gph going over screen. There are formulas to calculate flow, depending on size of screen

I'm actually looking to do the same exact thing. Do you still run this with these lights?
