lights for macro

Hi, I've been trying to grow different macroalgae for a while now and I've been unsuccessful with any red or brown algae. I have white VHO 10k bulbs and actinic. They only thing that seems to grow is the green kind and nuisance algae. Thoughts?

I have one of these too, but I'm curious about ones for the display tank that isn't so blinding magenta lol

Also, I should have clarified, this is for a display tank.
