Hi all,
Im hoping to get some input on some lighting options for my mixed reef tank. its a 29 gallon rectangle tank 30L x 12w x18h with a 10 gallon sump. currently i have 2 cheap relassy leds they are 12"l x8"w i bought from amazon. i know i know i should have just paid the intial cost on nice lighting from the get go but here we are. They actually look decent but, the big problem is there is a ton of spillage into the room. they are @ 8" above the tank atm. My plan is to have a mixed tank some lps and sps corals. Would a couple kessil a80 tuna blues do the trick to achive the light i need? Any suggestions or help would be great!

The kessil a80s are very low power from what I know. I have a 29 gallon and have been running an ocean revive (can extend 30" on rack). Super good for price but the company is no longer

Hi. hhave same tank. Reading through now to try to figure out what to upgrade to light wise. I have the A80's and while I am no expert, I do not believe those lights will be enough for what you (and I) want to do. I am thinking of the RedSea reefLED 50's But not sure they will be enough either. Doing research now.
