Lights for my upcoming 40 gallon breeder reef

I am looking at the new Current Orbit R24 Reef LED Dual Kit- Does that look like it might be a decent choice for this tank?

If it's a standard 40 breeder, those are 3' long, so you would likely want 2 of those fixtures. Manufacturer says spread is about 20x20 inches. Seems to be similar to an AI prime.

I use 2 ai primes on my 40 breeder and an considering a 3rd. A few easy sps in my tank but it’s mixed lps zoa tank

Started with current USA on mine (now for sale) and ended up with two AI primes. The 36” lights left a bit too much shadow on the ends to my liking. Happy to sell you mine though if you want to try

I have 3 over mine. I started with 2 and I didn't like the way the middle looked so I bought a third one using the discount code I got when I bought the first two. The middle one is mounted higher than the outer two. With this set up I have zero shading, I don't really notice any disco ball effect with the 3 but I did notice it when I only had 2. It's easy as hell to program but don't expect to be able to do hour by hour or control each color independently, it's only 4 channels that you can control, blue(royal blue, blue and ultraviolet are one channel), red, green and white. It's better for me this way so I'm not tempted to keep messing with it.
