Hello

I have a 110 gallon 4 foot long, 18 inches wide, 29 inches deep display tank. I have 3 OceanRevive T247's 8 inches above the water surface.

I am upgrading to a 180 gallon display tank that is 5 feet long, 24 inches wide and 29 inches deep.

Will my 3 T247's be enough light for the new tank?

Depends on what your planning on stocking.. probably won’t be enough for SPS and some clams, only real way to know for sure is by checking with a par meter.

These lights have been good for sps and clams in the 110 gallon and the depth is the same. Both the 110 and the 180 are 29 inches deep.
This is an old pic but it shows how the lights are mounted and gives an idea of the coverage.

The SPS you see in the pic have doubled in size since this pic was taken.

My plan is to keep LPS, SPS, a Clam or two and possibly one or two softies.

I need to know if I need an extra light for the extra foot of tank I will have.

The tank pictured above is 48" x 18" x 29"deep
The new tank will be 60" x 24" x 29"deep.
