Lights off?

Hey. I just added my first fish. A pair of clownfish. I put them in about 5 hours ago. I have not had the lights on. How long do you typically keep lights off when adding new fish? Thanks!

If they are the first fish in and were not shipped you can turn them on. How old is the tank?

I would just start up the lights when they would normally start on a daily basis so they get used to the cycle, however, if you can dim them somewhat and then ramp back up over a week, less stressful
