My light timer switched got knocked onto the on position and I didn’t notice and fell asleep so my lights were on all night. Do I leave them off all day or just let them resume their schedule? Sorry if this isn’t the right place to post.

Not too big of a deal. 1 day isn't that bad. I've seen tanks with the light left on for a week straight.

Thanks that’s a relief! Maybe I’ll turn the lights back on after I get home from work in that case

I think you're fine doing this. My lights did the same thing once; stayed on all night. I turned them off in the morning and turned them back on when I got home from work. I had no problem.

It’s going to depend on his nutrient levels.
A xena wil take 1500 par under the right conditions and get smoked in 200 par in a new low nutrient tank.

Every tank is different.

Jus sayin

that makes sense (that light's related to available nutrients)

I day wont hurt. Reset timer and carry forward from that point.
