lights on or off

So I am leaving on vacation in a few days. I will be gone for a week! I have a very confident fish sitter who will top off water and feed the fish daily. I manually turn lights on each day for about 6-8 hours. Would it be okay if I leave the lights off completely during my trip. This is a fish only tank. Thoughts??

I would buy a timer, not only for the trip but for your day to day routine. I have went lights out before on a reef tank for 5 days and everything was fine.

+1 get one of those little plug in timer things.

If it is a FO and they get some ligth from windows (I.e. they get som daylight) it will be fine. But a timer best IMO.
