Lights out at night?

Who leaves some sort of light/moonlight on the tank during the night? I feel my tank inhabitants get a little spooked when its completely dark. What do you do?

I have my tank go completely dark at night. I used to do moonlight, but have since opted for off at night. I'm sure there's some benefit to having moonlighting, but I didn't really see a point to it other than to see stuff in your tank at night.

My corals get mad at me when I leave mine on over night. My timer broke a while ago, none of my corals were fully open for around 2-3 days...
