I have a 48" ( i think ) long t5 bulb fixture and it holds 4 bulbs 2 of which are purple and the other two are white. I can do just purple, just white, or both. What mode is best?

This will get you where you want to be. I would skip the purple+ and go with a coral+ if you want to go with the first one
