I'm done with my cycle on my new fish tank I'm starting to see diatoms spot all over my dry rocks and sand should i leave my lights on? I have the kessil a160we with controller

Ammonia 0. Nitiate 0. Nitrates 5ppm

Just let it go. All new tanks go through that ugly phase. As long as you keep all perameters in check, it will go away on its own.

yup. you can keep em off if your not in a rush for coral or keep em low and a short photoperiod.
look into a diverse CUC. now the time.
Comgrats. a new reef is born. hang in there. Its gonna get ugly!
