So I picked up this new light last night. Aqua illumination hd and I'm having trouble with getting my Corals to open up. I have a zoa. A weird stem plant thing and then a hardy coral.

The thing with coral and this even applies to soft coral, is they are sensitive to change, which includes light.

Don't change anything on your settings for now, just give things a few days to get used to the change in light unit.

I don't own that light or have every used one. Just wanted to get that out first. I have however been running LED's for over 6 years. If I were you I would reduce the following to around what I show below to accommodate and work with your other settings. Give you a more 16K ish look I think.

Red - 7
Green - 9
Cool white - 18

I hadn't noticed the light setting images previously and this is good advice.
