Lights

I want to keep 2 clownfish and a couple blue leg hermit crabs, and later on down the road maybe have a couple of soft, flowy corals. Would these lights be ok for a 10 gallon nano reef tank? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...1_2?smid=A2ZTLQT1KDF2O9&psc=1#customerReviews
Those would probably Work for softies but you’ll eventually want to go on to lps and sps trust me, even if you don’t I would spend an extra 30 on this light https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B079JTB5Q5/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has the right color temperature (degrees Kelvin). But at only 13 Watts, I’m guessing is is equivalent to a 90 watt MH. That’s right on the edge in my book. You might be able to make it work with a longer (12+ hr) photo period.

I would not recommend for LPS or SPS.

Yeah, you’re probably right. I’m not sure how much light softies need. My mushrooms and Xenia practically grow under the rocks. But my old pincushion and deadman’s hands and gargonians needed more light. I grew them well in my 20gal with a 5500K 125W MH (30 yrs ago). Then again, others were using about 40w of normal output fluorescent bulbs.
