Good afternoon,

My name is Mike (people call me Big Mike), I have been in the hobby for approx 10 years, on and off- more on then off.
I currently run a IM30L stocked with mainly LPS with the odd SPS here and there

-Lighting- 2x Prime HDS
-Flow- 2x Vortech MP10WQD w/ stock return pump (upgrading to a Vectra or a COR15 soon enough)
-Brain is an Apex eL
- Automatic water changes courtesy of the ApexDOS
- Dose using a Kamoer 4 channel
- ATO, Chaeto reactor, 100w heater, Wyze cam
Livestock
- True mated pair of clowns
- Coral Beauty
- Algae blenny
- Helfrichi Fire goby
- CUC
Been running for approx 8 months

Current challenges- dealing with GHA.
**About 1 weeks into a Fluconazole treatment

What else to say, wife yells if I get water on the floor. Doesnt like that I keep the fish food in the freezer beside the chicken breasts- you know the normal stuff.

Welcome to R2R let’s see some pictures. I get the look when she finds water on the floor or all the dish towels in the hamper. But the best was I had homemade cubes made of nori and mysis and they looked just like her homade herb cubes for cooking and yep she mixed them up one night. Let’s just say the only one that had a good laugh was me when she realized.

I was originally going to put my tank in the main living room...glad I changed my mind at the last minute and put it in my finished basement...i spill water on the floor daily! Either this is a messy hobby or I'm just a mess!

Welcome to R2R! I'd love to see more pictures of that sweet trachy you have there I had to remove mine, and most of my fleshy LPS due to nippy angels... so I have to live vicariously through other LPS lovers.

Also, I am the wife in my house so he doesn't get yelled at for water on the floor... but if he forgets to put my pre-mixed and vitamin-soaked frozen food back in the fridge and it sits out all night and spoils, so that I have to mix a whole new batch- then he hears it! (Ask me if that just happened last night...)

Hi Big Mike, I'm Tonya. I'm the wife that gets the water on the floor and keeps the fish food in the freezer. The only trouble I have with my spouse, is that he knows that I'll be swinging by the lfs on payday. I'm glad you joined us. You are going to love it here.
