Not sure on one on top but right is atl raspberry lemonade nasuta left is blue tenious.. Yeah i was wondering if i should pull it apart, but im really curious to see what happens too! What are the three pieces? One will likely win out. Growth could be inhibited as well as they may expend more energy on surviving rather than growing. Or it could turn out to be the coolest thing ever...lol. Who knows. But my guess is that one will eventually swallow the others - and they all look like nice pieces!
Yea im kind of on the fence on what to do, thats why i want everybody's opinion to help make my mind up+1 to what Craig said. You may get lucky and wind up with something awesome, but more than likely I see some chemical warfare in your future...
Yes i have multible frags + their colonys!Do you have another piece of each coral? Those are 2 nice stonies and I would hate to see you lose one or both of them. If these are your only pieces, you may want to frag some off of each so you have a backup in case the experiment goes wrong.
Yea i just hope it does not do them harm for my enjoyment!Looks like a great experiment. Not sure what would happen but if anything, it'll be a great learning experience. You'll never know, may turn out to be something no one has ever seen before.
I had the break the Rock in half and separate them...Yea i'm gonna try that too, put like 5 or 6 diff together lol.. Sucks about the nudis.nice experiment bro! lol. i tried the same thing with monti caps. i had red, green and grape chopped up into 1cm sized squares and glued em all over a flat river rock. started becoming the coolest thing ever then it got overrun with monti eatin nudis.
Wow that stinks.. yea i learned the hard way with encrusting monti's on rock work trying to burn everything in their path lolI put the nasuta in my tank next to a Oregon tort after 5 months the nasuta took out my tort..I had the break the Rock in half and separate them...
I plan on splitting if one or the other starts getting stung or overtaken..There's a slim chance that this will end well, though I suppose anything is possible. Chances are, they will sting/kill one another, or a single coral will dominate, killing the others.
