Lime Green Algae

My usual dark green algae has been replaced with bright, lime green algae.

Is this an indicator of any issues, or normal? Never seen it this shade before.

It's probably from your light spectrum and intensity. Too much white/yellow spectrum.
 
My light is the same though, as when the algae was a dark green colour. It's a lot closer than it used to be though. Maybe that is why.

Increase in intensity could cause that.
