Limpet like creature, please help with ID

So I found this guy. It looked like a limpet at first, but the shell is segmented and somewhat flexible.

Any ideas?

Three years later....

Just found one of these exact guys stuck on the bag. Should I put him in? I have a rainfords goby and am worried the limpet will demolish the little patches of green algae he forages on.

Did you end up having any problems with them?
