Limpet or Chiton?

Just checking. There's two but I can't get a photo of the top (same markings)

Does the top come to a point, or is it segmented? If you look at pictures of limpets and chiton, you can probably identify yours pretty easily. They look very similar from the bottom.

Great reply. I’m betting limpet (usually don’t see chitons on the glass).

Limpets often have a hard oval shell..are u able to show us the other side?

It has a little 'hump' it's too small to see if it's pointed.
But I'm glad to hear that the general consensus is beneficial creature

They got a little bigger! They're chitons !

I actually found a baby Chiton today on my glass in my frag tank... lol
