Linear actuated floating canopy lift!

Just wondering cause the actuator I am using isnt that loud.

It was kinda echoing with the stand in front of it.. with the stand pushed back it's significantly quiter... you man gave got a better actuator than I did. This was an Amazon deal. What brand did you go with?

Yea it's probably from the echo. I bought one off ebay https://m.ebay.com/itm/900LBs-4000N...hash=item1ed34580a8:m:mLH29D5AXOqw_xIw0WXPy1g. Didn't wanted the motor to burn out so I bought a beefier motor that supports 900lbs.

Well had a few delays to the build lost my order for my special order laminate...4 weeks later im finally back on track. Not a perfect match but close enough!
Still need to laminate and mount the lights and fixture but I think it's good to go... only has about 1/8-3/16 flex at full extension both ways!

I watched these last year, and just couldn't bring myself to go with the linear actuator. I came up with a way to do it without electricity, and no mounts to the walls. Pretty easy to use, and hopefully, it will last for a really long time.

@Fishinbob what brand and type actuator did you use? Did it have programmable intermediate stops or just a rocker switch for up and down. I am looking to do this on a 180gal build. Any build info would be appreciated. See a lot of finished videos but yours is one that shows in progress.
