I purchased a Linear Blenny Ecsenius lineatus that is supposed to be reef safe and noticed today it's nibbling all my sps. Anyone else know this fish to be a sps eater or what could make it eat them? It's only been in the tank just over 5 days.

Ecsenius blennies usually are reef safe, but they have been known to nip at sps.

100% sure as watched it nibble several different plating and branching monti and now a chunk been take out my acro. It's exposing skeleton.

Just wondering if it's something that looks similar, a mimic of some sort?Got to catch it somehow!

Not a mimic. Some Ecsenius species do eat sps on occasion. Not all specimens, in fact most don't, but it can happen

I am happy to report I caught 'Devil Blenny The SPS Destroyer of Doom' using a net and ninja like speed .... loads of unplanned fragging as a result! Lol

He got so much personality the little git and has gone to a better place ... My algae covered sump!
