Anyone keeping these with success? What do these need to thrive? I've always heard survival rate is zero to low. Experiences and pictures would be great.

I would like to know about this as well. A LFS gets them in and they go somewhere. I'm sure they live for a bit and then die and I guess the person just gets another one.

I have had a blue linkia for a year and a half. I feed mine nori and just let it chill on my glass

I had one for a year and a half and it grew a bit. Not sure anyone has found what they eat naturally, but I've heard they eat small sponges from someone.

I had one for four years then lost it. Now have had one for over a year. I dont feed it anything, but i know they feed on asterina stars, so that will help. Other than that he is always cruising around the LR feeding on whatever...

I've always suspected sponges since they tend to last longer in aged tanks. I didn't know if that was from the stability or food supply.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of them eating asterinas. Thanks for the info.

Pretty interested in hearing how to feed nori to the linkia, that is first I've heard of that as well.

I think the problem with linkia is that once it goes downhill for any reason there's no coming back, they die/melt very quickly.

Dnov, 4 years is quite an accomplishment!
