Hi,

If it is just one eye and the other eye is fine, this is usually due to a strike injury. Flukes can cause cloudy eyes, but they generally hit both eyes to at least some degree.

It is tough to get a good look at the whole fish; but it looks kind of "mopey", with its fins folded, laying on the bottom. If it is doing that, it isn't a happy lionfish. On the other hand, if it comes out and feeds with its fins spread, that isn't an issue.

A short video under white light would help.

Many eye injury issues go away on their own after a couple of weeks. In some cases, secondary bacterial infections make them worse, and then you need to move the fish to a treatment tank and dose with Erythromycin.

Other issues can cause cloudy eyes, if you'd like me to dig deeper, check out this link that lists additional helpful information for us to know:

As Jay pointed to, it is likely an injury. Keep optimum water quality and feed a high quality diet and it will likely heal on it's on. I'm not sure what you are feeding and your tank set up, offering live fish feedings of guppies or mollies is the best for the immune system, as the concern would be for a bacterial infection. Some suggestions for dead food, salmon and Hikari silversides, stuff the silversides with a pelleted food high in vitamin c, vit c helps in healing. Hikari also makes a marine carnivore pellet that is high in vit c, but use your own favorite. Salmon is one of the most nutritionally dense dead food for the health of lions.
