Lionfish won’t eat

Assume can’t or wouldn’t advise goldfish?
Definatly not. Lions can not digest the bones of gold fish well enough and they can clog their intestines. I believe this is true of all fresh water fish, so the minnows are not not the best either.

This is the minnow I fed him yesterday this one was a little large for him to eat been in the tank for 24 hours still alive. This is also what I have for an endless supply for about 6 months

I’ve been using vitamin c from bright well but no garlic. This has been the only fish that seems to have trouble taken frozen so far all my other fish took food the same day when I bought them. He seems a little interested in mysis but like said above I don’t think it triggers his feeding instinct like live. I dropped the minnow in bam he at it. I’ll try freezings the minnow I have no shortage
How's it going with the lionfish? I bought 2 and struggling with the frozen food.
