I thought the fish provided the daily coral food?

You guys are dosing daily coral food supplements? How much? I hand dose every 3 days or so but have to watch phosphate also.

Red Sea AB+ needs to be refrigerated, but you can put what you use in a week in a dosing container and be fine

My corals where struggling and i didn't know why. I'm running full triton method( with a bit smaller refugium) and i don't have any die off from my macro algae. parameters where good. Really wanted a mandarin dragonet so i dosed phytoplankton every day to boost by copepod population. Did it at night with some Reef-roids. The result : more copepods and a lot of phosphates. So wanted to switch to something else, and the convenience of having my phytoplankton and coralfood hooked on a doser is great, don't have to do a thing only to increase my dosage weekly.
the result now:

Lots of copepods
and my corals:

30 januari: started dosing

08 april: around 6 weeks later

Even corals that had no growth the last months started to grow, can see them feeding when the food is dosed.

6 ml through the day 1.5 ml every 6 hours

And no phosphate issues? I know dosing red sea AB everyday would probably require counter dosing with Nopox as part of their supplement regimen.

I use gfo, change it out once a month. I always feed my fish to much, masstick and half a nori sheet every other day and 4 cubes frozen a mix of mysis, artemia and krill the other day and some dry food sometimes. Have to dose nitrate 0.5 ppm daily, no carbon dosing.
To be honest i have to dose more nitrate lately.

Gotcha, makes sense you are countering the phosphate buildup from dosing with GFO. I'm trying to remain as free as possible with chemicals in my sump and system.

Aminos, seachem coral vite are examples of liquid foods but in many cases, simply nourishing fish nourishes the coral from poop and uneaten food fragments.
