Ciao Reef Enthusiasts!

I'm curious if anyone here has experimented with using the Neptune liquid level sensor as an ATO solution. The concept seems straightforward – controlling a pump based on the lower threshold and setting an upper threshold for alarms. Plus, adding a second sensor could enhance safety, right?

I'd love to hear your thoughts or experiences on this. Has anyone found it to be a good alternative? I'm asking because my Tunze ATO has been a bit on the fritz lately, and I'm exploring other options. Looking forward to your insights and suggestions!

From the posts that I've read, the reliability is just not there yet. I bought 2 when they came out, and they both failed. I had one replaced and still need to make a claim for the other. I've seen lots of similar posts on several forums.

I see. I guess they're only good for monitoring water level in the reservior then.
