So heres the second half of my two part thread!! List things you have had bad experiences with so the rest of us dont waste our money


Things i dont like!

Power sweep power heads, they dont sweep after a while
Purple up- i didnt notice any difference with or with out it!
Skilters
Sea clone skimmers

How about SCWD's. they start of real good except they restrict flow a lot. The probelm is then they get clogged and stop. If you can't do a mod(like me) they become junk.

You've never heard of scwd's? Switching current water director.

Also something else that does not work well. The Aqua-tongs. They do not hold strongly and have to drain way too much water before removing them or it leaks all over you.

Hydorflo's. COnstant cleaning required and a lot of water restriction.

BIO BALLS!!!!!! they are a waste of money if you use them.....please stop!

Bio balls work great in nanos, going to have to disagree with you, if you clean them or replace them on a monthly basis, it has positive effect on the tank, but that's just my experience.

Keep em clean lol, it'll work good, never had a problem in the 3 years my tanks were up.
