Where do you find fritz at for 50$. It would almost be worth my buddy driving down to cincy and buying 4-5 boxes at a time.
Also where does everyone get IO from for 40$. Thats the salt I use

Corey

Check out Petco right now. They have a $30 off $100 coupon online. If you buy 2 boxes of IO, it comes out to around $41 per box before taxes.

Was that a bucket or box? The bucket is only 160gal and the box is 200gal

I buy the buckets but 200 gal is still only 53. They'll price match though if you find it lower. I just find the buckets seal better.

I use Tropic Marin regular salt - 200gal buckets. Was paying around $55 delivered from DFS. Looks like I will be paying around $87 now when it is time to buy again.

Tropic Marin Pro Reef, pay about 90$ for the big 200G bucket. Not worth skimping on salt.

Tropic Marin Pro/200 gallons/$70-75

This thread started with $40-$50.
You Guy are posting 80s and 90s.
What’s the deal?
Post only reasonable sale links please.

Sorry my bad. This is a listing thread ... might just need to start one for advise of best salt price.

Two Little Fishies Accurasea1 salt mix. 50 gallon box is 26.99 at BRS. Comes as ten 5 gallon packets.
How do you like it? I have IOSS for $15.09. 50gal in my cart at Chewy. I'm setting up my BC32

I like it a lot for my needs. One pouch mixes up at 1.026 in 4.5 gal of RODI. It mixes clear and is the perfect size for an easy water change on my tank. I only have a couple of corals and they seem to be doing fine. There isn’t a lot of info out there about it but so far for me it’s great. I have not tried to test it’s levels for calcium or alkalinity yet so I don’t know if it’s mixing up consistently or not but nothing in my tank is unhappy and you can’t beat the convenience.

I picked up several buckets of Tropic Marin for around $45 a bucket. That was last year though. I'm not even sure if they still carry the salt. I still have one and a half buckets left and will most likely keep using it.

@fishead

How do the price of Aussie corals compare?

For instance, what's the going price for as Aussie Golden Torch single head?

.
Hey skimjim. I'm not a torch guy but from memory about $65 aussie bucks for a small gold torch. Which is about $45 USD.
I think they've gone up a bit with the hype in the US though. A nice wild sps colony might be $50 ish aussie bucks.

200G boxes of IO for $35 from petco when they have their sales. I typically wait until then, and buy a few boxes at a time so I only need to buy salt once a year.

I have seen it on amazon also for around 40$ a box with free shipping if your a prime member.

Red Sea blue bucket 70$ lfs

Where were you able to get that price last year?

Is that 15%code still good? What is the code?
