Litermeter III Dosing System/Auto Water Changer

Does it include the water change module?

These are all you need. One will move water out and the other will add water back in. I had the module initially but it didn't last very long. That's why I purchased a second main unit. These are much sturdier than the add-on modules.

The second Litermeter III basically replaces the water exchange module except it moves water from the sump out to a drain.

Are they programmed simultaneously, just don't understand how they perform water change without working in conjunction with each other

So when you set up both pumps, you have to calibrate them. There's a calibration setting that's based on 500ml of water. Basically you'll use a measuring cup and the calibration runs the unit until it delivers 500ml. Then you stop the calibration. The computer system will then calculate what it took to deliver that 500ml. You would calibration both pumps of course. Then on each pump, you set the desired amount of water you want to move in a 24-hour period-- for example, 1 gallon on pump 1 and 1 gallon on pump 2. (You'd set the amount to match on both pumps of course.)

Here's a good post. Instead of the remote module/water exchange module (same module), it will just be two Litermeter pumps.

These are great.. if you want stability and good clean water, with rock solid params of your salt of choice. You better check into these real close.. the best way to look at these imo is a bigger version of a dosing pump.. one is adding water to a waste drain and the other into the tank simultaneous..

Thank you! These are truly fantastic. Unfortunately, it's not easily understood or explained so people (including myself) won't realize how great they are until actually owning some. They are really effective and easy to use.
