Noticed these on the cyphastrea after lights out last night. He has been looking pretty bad for the last week or so, could these be the cause? Any one know what they are?

A quick google didn't turn up anything that gravitates to cyphastrea, and that's the only coral I noticed them on last night.

No idea, they are too far away.
You could dip the coral and see what falls off.
If it were me and I had interceptor, and removed any valued shrimp and crabs than I would use the interceptor because it targets arthropods. Stony corals can have all kinds of mites, arthropods.....It's amazing the improvement you can see once all those die back.

Good thing I've got the 10 gallon hospital running in the other room. Guess I'll start catching hermits and shrimp. Thanks for the advice.
