What do you have for circulation. Anything creating micro bubbles., phosphate, nitrate, and ammonia lvls?

Two wave makers 10,000
Phos 2ppm bit high but working on lowering them
Nitrates 5ppm
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0

Cyanobacteria produces bubbles. If it's not from that, then your skimmer or something else is introducing them into the tank. A filter sock will help if you have a sump that's creating bubbles but if you can ID the source then you know what needs to be changed.

By the sound of it. ^^ hes right. May have cyano. Everyone seems to get it this time of year.

Its Cyano. Clean the stuff off the rocks, or blat it with your powerheads. If the lights are new, the tank will need time to adjust. You'll be ok.

Other options are dynoflagellates or coralthrix. Google images and see if they are similar to yours (can't really see from your pic).

If its Dinoflafellates. Take the rock out and scrub it and let it dry out. Only way to get rid of it
