I bought a hammer coral frag a while ago from a shop that I now know isn't very reputable. When I bought it it had a head that was already a skeleton but they had buried this in the sand bed so I didn't see it until I got it home.
I have now noticed that the dead head is full of little brown bugs, they look abit like they have 6 legs/fans. I've tried to get a picture but my camera can just not focus on them. I have considered fragging the healthy head and dipping in iodine. Dont know what else to do.
At first I thought it was algae but they disappear at night and reappear when the light come on. I've attached the best picture I can get
