Little critters crawling through the glass

Arghhh. So what is the next step?
Seems that flatworm exit is a viable option if the instructions are followed.
Besides wrasses, are there any other fishes that can eat them?

I had flatworms once. I think I used flatworm exit. It worked great. But flatworm die off can be toxic so only do it if you don't have a huge infestation.

It is the first time I am seeing them, so hopefully this just started. I feel that they came from an LSF despite dipping in revive for 15 minutes.....:mad:

Don't worry about that flatworm. It doesn't damage corals. It eats copapods. Get rid of them and you might end up with a much worse type.

Yeah lfs pretty well you get everything you dont want in a single rock. I've had aptasia on each frag I've gotten and had to frag the frag and super glue everywhere there might be one.

No your overreacting. These flatworms only eat pods. Yes a wrasse would be good, but they wont hurt anything

I agree about the flatworms not hurting anything. That one looks like an acoel flatworm. They are photosynthetic and can't hang on to surfaces very strongly. In high flow areas you won't find them. They could be an issue if their numbers get explosive but that is talking about in the thousands. In those numbers they can cover a coral and block it's light source. I have them and no harm what so ever. Just make sure there aren't too many places that don't get any flow and a wrasse is good to keep numbers in check.

Little guys look like pods as mentioned above, as far as the flat worm issue...get a blue velvet nudibranch! They're awesome at exterminating flat worms. Plus the look cool!

Thanks! Seems that now I have a good reason to get a wrasse. I wonder if a 1.5 inch of sand will be enough for them or if I have to add more sand to the system (which I prefer not to do). I have been also looking into blennys in case the sand bed is too thin.

I saw the nudis and they look amazing!!! It concerns me that their only diet is flatworms, so they may starve after a while.

Not all wrasses sleep in the sand. Mine sleeps in the rock and I have a 4 inch sand bed

It's an Acoel Flatworm. They won't eat any coral, but will eat pods and can reproduce like crazy smothering coral if left unchecked.

Lol is it just me or does anyone else feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment after dropping a dot of superglue over an aptasia
