Little critters in the sump

showed up in my sump a couple of days ago. With a net I can scrape them off the glass
and they just turn to mush. Anyone know what these are?
 
If they dont move they could be pineapple sponges or another small sponge. Its hard to tell without a close up macro shot
 
Don't appear to move - my concern was they look like a worm and I want to be proactive if they end up being bristle worms.
 
Terri - the email version of the chat stated that you think it's a worm and they are good guys. Not sure what happened in the thread above.
 
I would think some kind of flatworm. Are you sure they don't move? Or could they move very slowly? Could be some kind of bacteria if they really don't move.

Have a read here about worms in our tanks.

I agree, looks like flatworms.
 
Can you point out the intake siphon in the photo or in another photo? Trying to learn what to look for. Thanks
