Hey everyone. I’m a relatively new reefer who started a 12gal nano in May of this year. Everything is going pretty well with the exception of the annoying algae blooms as my tank matures.

I was inspecting my rock today when I noticed a new critter. I’ve posted a pic; they are little orange curly things that almost look like an egg or embryo of some sort.

I recently noticed a few small white banded worms in my tank as well. I’ve been picking those out by hand but haven’t been able to get a good pic.

The worms probably came from some zoas I recently put in my tank that I got from a friend who is having to restart his tank. I dipped the heck out of them but still got some hitchhikers.

If anyone could at least help ID these little curly orange things, that would be great.

Thank you! So I’ve researched vermited... Tear them out and glue the hole shut?
