Little fern looking flowers and possibly tunicates?

Came home from a 4 day Eclipse trip and noticed a few new things on a piece of LR...

I think the blue arrow points to some more tunicates, but I'm not 100% sure.

I have no clue what the things are the red arrow is pointing too, but there are a bunch of them as you can see.

By the red arrows these are cucumbers, a filter feeder and good things to have.
What the blue arrows pointing at I'm unclear due to the angle the picture is taken.

Those brown flowers are clove polyps. They are ok at first but then they will cover literally every inch of your tank. These things aren't harmful but they become extremely annoying in the future. Get rid of that rock and any rock those things are on.
You also have Tiny aptaisia anemones on that rock, that one is an actual pest.
The blue arrows indicate a sponge, those are ok.

Those brown flowers are clove polyps. They are ok at first but then they will cover literally every inch of your tank. These things aren't harmful but they become extremely annoying in the future. Get rid of that rock and any rock those things are on.

Humm, that rock has a lot of good stuff on it. I might try and selectively remove the clove polyps. Where are you seeing aptaisia at?

Thanks. Ill test the cloves with blowing water like you suggested in the other thread. Any good way to fight the aptasia when its that small?

if you're new to this hobby it's probably all new to you and everything looks cool, I've made the same mistake I kept 2 clove polyps and 1 mojano fast forward two years, I've had over 300 of those mojanos, that were touching high end sps and killing their bases ( and mojanos do not sting as bad as aiptaisia), they would detach and land on the corals the cloves would grow in millions over the zoas and Acropora and suffocating them. I had to break down my 60 gallon tank just because of those things. If you want your tank to do good and look good in the long run you better be very selective and on top of removing all of the pests at ANY cost. Sponges and coralline you have on those rocks are dime a dozen, but a pest free tank is priceless. Here's one rule, it's always better to throw away something good than to keep something bad. Kalk paste or aptasia x. I actually use it to kill big polyps too.

Thanks. Ill have to see if I can get the ricordea off of that rock if I have to toss it.

You might be able to take fragging clippers (big toenail clippers) or a hammer and chisel and cut off the rock areas with problems. Alternatively you can chisel off the ricordea and sponge and get rid of the rock. since you have aptaisia in your system look for it and kill it as fast as you can. It is possible to eradicate it, but it takes some diligence.

On the other side, I see ricordia , acros, shrooms and zoas in every tank. Folks also vilify Xenia. Personally , I prefer to see the other wonders of the ocean.

Lol. I killed some completely a long time a go on a rock when my tank was newer. Moved the rock around etc. and it rose from the dead.

And naturally it a rock at the bottom of a structure.
